800S can give warning message when E-bike exist error, LCD display icon and the error code in speed position, error code is from 01E–07E, the definition see the table below.

Error 30H — Communication Failure
1. Please confirm whether the communication protocol matches the controller. 2. Whether display cable is broken, plug is loose, waterproof plug or pin is in the incorrect position. 3. Take off the assistance sensor and see if there's any error showed on the display. If not, it's the assistance sensor that is broken. 4. Take off the speed sensor and see if there's any error showed on the display. If not, it's the speed sensor that is broken. 5. Take off the shifter and see if there's any error showed on the display. If not it's the shifter that is broken. 6. Take off the motor hall and see if there's any error showed on the display. If not, it's the motor hall that is broken. 7. if all the points above can not be solved, the controller or display needs to be replaced to see if the controller or display that is broken.

If the 5-core cable connected to the controller and the controller fails:
The meter cannot be turned on, and the LCD screen is not displayed.
Possible cause: The main power cord is not connected / the controller is out of phase.
The meter can be turned on, but it stops working after 3S. There may be a reason: any one of the green and yellow signal lines connected to the controller and the controller is open.

30	Kommunikationsfel	1. Kontrollera att kablar och kontakter är korrekt anslutna. 2. Kontrollera att kablar och kontakter är hela och rena. 3. Byt ut display 4. Byt ut motorn.
36	Fel på momentgivare	Byt ut motorn.
37	Fel på hastighetssensor	1. Kontrollera att sensorn sitter korrekt mot magneten i bakhjulet. 2. Byt skruven som håller sensorn. Den kan ha blivit magnetisk. 3. Kontrollera kablar och kontakter så att de är hela och rena. 4. Kontrollera så att magneten sitter fast på hjulet. 5. Kontrollera att distansen mellan magnet och givare är mellan 7-23mm. 6. Byt ut sensorn.
