Motor and electric assistance
With a Cargobike DeLight Box, you get everything that a safe and state-of-the-art cargo bike can offer. Thanks to the integrated placement of the motor, which delivers 110 Nm, you receive nearly twice as much power per pedal stroke compared to a rear-mounted motor. The motor from Ananda senses how hard you pedal and adjusts the assistance level accordingly.
Box and load capacity
Unlike our other models, the box in the DeLight Box is not equipped with seats, providing extra space for cargo. Our box models feature higher sides, offering versatile loading options and a generous surface area that is perfect for branding with your logo or message.
Gear system, display, and lighting
The gear system consists of an externally mounted 8-speed system from Shimano. The display comes with a USB port, and the bike features automatic lighting at both the front and rear.
Battery and wheels
The 16Ah battery from Samsung/LG can be easily charged using a standard outlet and is lockable, so you can take it with you if needed. The fully cast magnesium wheels eliminate the need for spoke maintenance, and the bike is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes on both the front and rear.
Additional features and options
A mid-mounted motor from Ananda significantly eases riding on steep hills, against headwinds, or when carrying heavy loads. If you wish to have the box wrapped with your company’s logo, we offer this as an additional service – please see our references for tips and examples.
Assembly and delivery
The bike is delivered fully assembled directly to your door (shipping charges apply). Alternatively, you can choose to pick up the bike from us to avoid shipping costs. Please note that the frame lock shown in the image is not included and is available separately as an accessory.
Safety and testing
Our bikes are rigorously tested according to the German standard DIN 79010:2020, ensuring they meet strict requirements for frame strength, braking systems, parking brakes, load capacity, and safety for both small and large passengers. They are also TÜV-tested and CE-certified, confirming that they adhere to the highest safety standards.
