Note that this hatch/door features pre-drilled horizontal holes that fit the rubber latch, i.e., the latch visible in the image. Kindergarten has also been delivered with a metal latch, which attaches using vertical holes in the hatch. If this latch is to be used, new holes will need to be drilled into the hatch.
